Principal's Welcome
Thank you for taking the time to check out the Rib Lake Middle School!
We are proud of all that our small, rural school has to offer. Our hope is to provide a space where all students know that they belong, work hard, and demonstrate good character. We believe in building strong relationships between school and home, believing that working together is in the best interest of each student. We have a dedicated staff that cares about fostering the social, emotional and academic aspects of each child. With an average class size of around 16 students, each student is known and individually supported in meeting their goals.
A student’s typical day includes English Language Arts, Literacy, Health or Phy Ed, Math, Science and Social Studies. Additionally, each student participates in various Explore Classes throughout the year, which rotate between Spanish, Shop, Art, and Family and Consumer Economics. Students also have the opportunity to participate in Band or Choir, receiving weekly lessons in addition to large group instruction. Students are provided with an opportunity to participate in Leadership Group and seasonal athletics. As part of our learning, we promote various out-of-classroom learning opportunities which include trips to the school forest, NTC or other career planning opportunities, Washington DC (8th or 9th grade year), the community for community service days, or special reward field trips to various locations.
Our local report card highlights some of the exciting aspects of our school, and our state report card highlights the academic accomplishments. We are so proud of our RLMS students!
If you have any questions about RLMS please reach out to Ms. Courtney in the MS Office at 715.427.5446, and she can help schedule a time for us to meet!
Wishing you a wonderful day,
Mrs. Aimee Blomberg
