The Rib Lake Hall of Fame is an initiative designed to recognize Rib Lake School District alumni who have gone on to make a difference in this world.
The first inductees were selected in 2009. Two more were added in 2010 and 2011. Beginning in 2012, one inductee will be selected each year.
A selection committee solicits nominees until July 15th of each year and then meets to make the selection. The committee includes staff members, community members, and school board members. The committee bases selection on these criteria:
|
- Must be a graduate at least five years prior to nomination.
- May have had military service in place of graduation.
- Must have distinguished him/herself in chosen field or endeavor.
- Reflects positively on the Rib Lake Community. Shows a generous contribution of time and talent.
- May be awarded posthumously. An induction ceremony is held each year at Rib Lake High School.
- Inductees are invited to make an address to the student body. Plaques commemorating each inductee are displayed above the gym doors in the Rib Lake Elementary School.

The School District of Rib Lake Hall of Fame seeks nominations every year (through June 30th) from alumni, staff, friends and family of graduates of the Rib Lake School District or Westboro High School. The Nomination Form is found here.
